Webinar on “Working Together with Purpose”
NIST Foundation is organizing a webinar titled “Working Together with Purpose” for secondary school teachers, which will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 4:00 pm. Teachers are resourceful by nature. Hence, they are invaluable assets of schools. The webinar will be led by Mr. Nigel Forbes–Harper, who is a Senior Consultant of the Reshaping Schools based in Perth, Australia. He is also an advisor to the NIST Foundation. During the webinar, Nigel will talk about how we make best use of the talents of our teachers, and how we ensure that we are all working together in the best interests of our students by working together. This webinar is available only to the teachers of the NIST associates.
Nigel, a graduate of Cambridge University, began his career as Head of the Senior School and also as IB Diploma coordinator at IB World schools in Papua New Guinea, the Northern Territory of Australia, Turkey and Thailand. He later served for five years as Head of School Services in the Asia-Pacific region, and was responsible for the management of IB programmes in IB World Schools in the region. He also took up a role as Head of Curriculum at an international school in Perth, and then worked as Executive Director of Tranby College also in Perth, Australia before leaving full-time employment at the end of 2015 to work independently.
