The NIST Foundation is a not–for–profit organization, and it is an initiative undertaken with the core objective of providing support to reform schools that involves teachers and leadership, teaching and learning, pedagogic principles, infrastructure and facility development, resources and the broader school community who are working together to prepare young learners for the 21st century. We provide the knowledge and expertise to school leaders to help them manage change, and improve student learning outcomes thereby enhancing the reputation of the institution.
We partner with public, private schools and the government to help reform schools by developing teachers and leaders, improving the quality of teaching–learning, and transforming the school culture. The leaders and consultants at the Foundation focus on enhancing and facilitating learning for students including their safety and wellbeing, and are passionate about developing schools as a whole, and making a difference in school education. We collaborate with national and international educators, consultants and education providers such as International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization, Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), Council of International Schools (CIS), International School Services (ISS), Reshaping Schools, etc.
Through collaboration and partnerships, we introduce innovation and the best teaching–learning practices reforming school systems particularly the quality of teaching–learning, and impart students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to survive and thrive in a transforming world.
